Crafted in Japan, Hasami Porcelain products are made from a blend of porcelain and clay creating a unique texture. This texture gives an organic feel, and though coarser than earthenware, it remains enjoyable to both hold and drink from.
Hasami Porcelain draws its name from one of the foremost pottery districts in Japan, Hasami Nagasaki.
Ceramics have been made in the Hasami region for over 4000 years.
