SKIRT DETAILS
This "Only One" Tarun divided skirt has a comfortable cut, along with complex colour combinations. The loosely curved lines with complex color combinations create a beautiful and unique style. The "Tarun" pants is woven using the traditional Japanese "Banshu-Ori" technique at the tamaki niime® weaving atelier in Japan. The pants have a soft touch thanks to their wool fibres and the tamaki niime® weaving method. These pants have two large pockets, one on the front, the other on the back. The waist is elasticized to fit a wide range of body types.
This item is an "Only One" item. The tamaki niime® "Only One" concept means that the divided skirt in this photo is one-off item. There is only a single pair of the divided skirt in existence with these colors and cut. tamaki niime® chooses different thread colors for every single "Only One" garment, so that each item is totally unique from the garments woven before and after it.

The Maker
Creative Japanese designer, Tamaki Niime, established her own apparel brand in 2006 in Nishiwaka, Hyogo, an area known for the traditional Banshu-ori method of making cotton textiles.
She creates special, one-of-a-kind pieces of clothing and accessories, all in vibrant, beautiful colours, all individualistic, using original fabric. These one-off, unique pieces include items such as shawls, dresses, hand and arm warmers and slippers.
Tamaki Niime’s been growing cotton organically since 2014, sourcing materials with 100% traceability. With vintage looms and knitting machines, she and her creative team produce all the fabrics themselves on their premises.
